The World Of Parenting

Many aspects are required to know if you are ready to become a parent. You have to research the financial issues and requirements for parenthood and if you are financially secure to fiance your child. Parenting expenses, including health insurance, child care, food and housing. Emotional requirements necessary for parenting, and think about your mental health and emotional state. The social and physical duties required for parenthood. Parent are responsible for guiding the child through difficult circumstances in life and comforting the child in periods of emotional distress. Ensuring that children receive the education they require to function in society. Make every reasonable effort to ensure that children are safe from physical harm, nurtured, and safe. Evaluate your personal time and work schedule and think about the time commitment necessary for children. This should all be considered when when entering parenthood. You and your spouse or significant other should postpone parenthood till you know you have all these requirements in order to raise a child right. But parents are, above all, human beings. They have strengths and weaknesses just as all human beings do. Many new parents are young and are still figuring out what they want out of life, even as they are forced to reexamine their priorities to make room for a new family member. So some people are ready for parenting, some aren't, and some just don't want to become parents and that's okay. I think some people should not be parents for their way of being raised and they don't consider things thoroughly. Most parents jump in relationships just like their decisions. And some parents are raised wrong so they pass those bad traits down to their children instead of taking a point in time out of their life and trying to fix things and get help.

Self-Esteem & Child Development

When children are young the most important thing a parent can do to promote a child’s self-esteem during this time is to forge a strong bond between parent and child. To assure the child will learn that she is loved and that she can depend on the guidance and nurturance of her caregivers as she ventures toward independence. Children learn they can communicate their needs to the outside world and therefore can influence the world around themselves. Discipline determines the way a child interacts with other people, so determines how successful he or she will be in life. There is nothing like success to develop self esteem. The self-esteem for that works best with a child varies with the child but I don't think their could be just one way to best serve a child's self-esteem. I think the best self esteem comes from letting your child try reasonable challenges, helping just enough for them to see that they can succeed if they try. For example, the way most parents are when babies are determined to walk. Parents hold their hands while they step, encourage them to take a few steps from one person to another, catch them if they stumble, but let them try and try and try again until they are successful. That's the way we should always be with kids, and the way school should be. Setting tasks that they have to work at, but that they can be successful at with a little help at the right moments.

Environments For Children

The pros of a stay at home parent are your child understands your rules and how you enforce them. You can control the quality of the care and fufilling your child's needs. You don't have to worry about fixing your schedule to be at home in time to see your kid. You get to be there for your child's stage in development. No one replaces you and you get to have all the time in the world with your child. The cons of a stay at home parent can be possible isolation and loneliness. Physical emotional strain on you. Play dates or other child interaction must be specially arranged. Taking time off from your career can be bad for you in the future employment options. You can loose income and benefits and you may need to make some big lifestyle changes. Now some of in-home care pros are nurturing in a home atmosphere, the child gets more attention, more convenient than out-of-home care, more flexible than daycare, and the child stays in familiar surroundings. That cons of in-home care is it is the most expensive childcare option. A lot of paperwork and taxes for the in-care provider. Most of the time their is no supervision or you may feel it's not enough supervision. Play dates must be arranged by you or the in-home care provider. It can be stressful on you if the in-home care provider quits or becomes sick. For daycare it is more affordable than a in-home care provider. More reliable because they won't call in sick or can't make it for some reason. Lots of supervision and kids can socialize with other children of the same or other age groups. Staff members of child care are trained in early childhood education and they are licensed and regulated. The cons of day cares are caregivers care for more than one child. Centers that care for specific age groups can be hard to find. Most centers won't provide care for sick children. They are closed during the holidays and have stiff pickup and drop-off times. If I had to choose the best out of these three options my choice would be a stay at home parent. I want to spend every living breathing moment with my kid as much as possible. And it may get boring or lonely sometimes but I would find some activities for me and my child to do together so the bond can become stronger and I can help build their self-esteem, needs, and love.

Positive Parenting

As children grow through natural stage of development and build stronger relationships with their parents and their peers their are higher expectation levels for a child. I think positive parenting works because it helps guide a child on the right path. It helps a child learn and consider responsibility and the outcome of being obedient. It teaches a child their actions matter and helps them for future situations that may happen. And it goes both ways, a happy parent is a happy child. Children mirror their parents and if you're calm, happy, and have more patience with your child the entire household will be more harmonious. You are a model for your child and that can help them model their own behavior in the long run.

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

The Catcher in the Rye was banned shortly after publication. It was banned for sexual themes and prostitution, anti-white, communism, and vulgar language such as slang and profanity.
Since then many libraries have lifted banning and have allowed people to read the book. The Catcher in the Rye should not be banned because it opens reader’s eyes to the moral senses of the day, tells the truth about the adolescent experiences, and provides readers with sincere humor.

Also, The Catcher in the Rye tells the truth about adolescent experience. Holden Caulfield knows there are two different groups of the in-crowd and the out-crowd.
“Life is a game, boy. Life is a game that one plays according to the rules. Yes, sir. I know it is. I know it. Game, my ass. Some game. If you get on the side where all the hot-shots are, then it’s a game, all right-I’ll admit that. But if you get on the other side, where there aren’t any hot-shots, then what’s a game about it? Nothing. No game (pg.8).”
Holden Caulfield knows for the in-crowd life is a game, it’s fun. Ironically however, he’s not part of that group and find himself in the out-crowd. Where life is not a game.

Throughout the book Holden Caulfield is running, wondering around, and not really talking to anyone but you as a reader. He’s like a nomad, but he is looking for something.
“Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids and nobody’s around-nobody big, I mean-except me. And I’m standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff-I mean if they’re running and they don’t look where they’re going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That’s all I do all day. I’d just be the catcher in the rye and all (pg. 173).”
Holden’s in a war and he’s trying to save others. He’s looking for kids to make sure they don’t fall off the cliff and lose their innocence, joyful spirit, and honesty. Holden’s like a vigilante and he’s lonely because he’s chosen this life to help many others. But in order to be a protector he has to be on the out-crowd. He’s transitioning from being this carefree person to seeing these kids  running to the cliff and that ages him a little outside of adolescent to adulthood. It makes Caulfield mature but with maturity comes responsibility and the weight of that.

The Catcher in the Rye should not be banned because it opens reader’s eyes to the moral senses of the day, tells the truth about the adolescent experiences, and provides readers with sincere humor.
“My parents would have about two hemorrhages apiece if I told anything personal about them. They’re quite touchy about anything like that, especially my father. They’re nice and all-I’m not saying that-but they’re also touchy as hell (pg. 1).”
It doesn’t seem like Holden’s parents are very close to him, which isn’t good, but he makes out of it something funny. Even through this unpleasant experience Holden finds something in it that he can laugh about. One good reason why not to ban this book is that my experience has shown me this is very similar and he’s telling nothing but the truth. Does J.D. Salinger feel that he is the catcher in the rye and his way of catching people is by giving them the book?

Organic activist.

I don't know about the rest of the world but I would really appreciate it if I knew what was going into my body instead of poisonous foods. I not only want to look out for myself but for my children, gran children, and the world. I'm trying really hard to spread the word about how important it is to be healthy the "organic way" and i'm only in high school. I know my voice is small compared to the other billion people on this earth who don't know or don't really read the labels or care to know but I didn't know till this summer finding out through organic hair products. I hope there are many other young people who care to think about these things as I do, i'm grateful to stumble upon organic and the importance of it because I have a chance to change. It's not too late and it's never to late. I thought I was alone non of my family members really care about eating right that's why they have most of their disorders now & I thought there was no hope for me either. But I found their are people who are passionate about being safe just as much as I am. I thank all the organic websites and distributors such as Dr. Bronners, Australian certified organic, Dr. Hauschka skin care, Dr. David Brownstein, and many more. Especially to Seeds Of Death movie on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUd9rRSLY4A) I even had to buy it to show my kids when I'm older, how important it really is to be healthy and be aware of dangerous things. Most important life lesson is anyone can sell you a lie, you just have to have the time to research that lie and really overlook it to tell whether or not it's a lie or the truth. And it's really sad/to me really degrading we have to do that to our entire home, our cloths, pillows, beverages, nails, teeth, and etc. I thought they'd stop at putting harmful chemicals & substances in our hair products BUT NOW IT'S OUR FOOD. The one thing that everyone loves is food and they even took that away from us. I don't even feel safe in my own house/economy I feel like cattle, all I am to my country is just another social security number. My country's not looking out for me nor my parents, I feel like have to look after myself so I utterly support all of the organic activist people care, you just have to show them and teach them knowledge. And to those who don't, you have to make them care. To start the change please help the food democracy now to tell president Obama to veto the Monosanto Protection Act.

Organic Hair Care My Before & After.

My Before & After Organic Hair Care Change

There are many hair care products out there but are they really safe as they say? This summer I've recently discovered there are many harmful things in your shampoo's & even in your soaps. As I see my hair changing, my curls becoming more defined and healthy I was very curious to what they put in my cleansing items. I've listed a few things down below to show you what to avoid and look out for also some of my home remedies you can try that I've really liked so hopefully you can take some notes and actually look at your ingredients on the label. Anything you put in your body or even in your hair, your body absorbes everything.

Home Remedies:

1) Avocado Treatment :

1 or 2 Avocado's (preferably organic)
Teaspoon of your organic conditioner
Disposable gloves *wearing gloves helps work your fingers through your hair just like a comb.*
Clip or Scrunchie

- Mix in blender or mixer whatever you have. Then pour all over your head in sections. Let it sit for 1 hour or however long then wash with shampoo. (p.s. You may have green like particles in your hair even in your comb or brush when it dries the next day but it'll be fine, to me it's like hydration for a longer lasting.)
~ VERY GOOD FOR DRY HAIR OR EXTRA HYDRATION. ~

2) Coconut oil Treatment

Organic Coconut oil
Disposable gloves *wearing gloves helps work your fingers through your hair just like a comb.*
Plastic disposable shower cap

- Your coconut should be melted but it doesn't have to be mine was just melted already, anyways make sure you already have a small layer of hair already out when you have your gloves on because it's very oily & hydrating. Put how ever much you need for each section of your hair whether it's dry scalp or dry ends it's good for almost anything you need hydrated! Theirs no need to comb when you have the gloves on if you have a knot just spray some water on it & coconut oil and it should untangle. After you've done your whole head tie it in a bun on top of you head or middle, just have it up so your back won't be greasy like. Put the disposable shower cap on & keep it on for however long you want I keep mine on for 15-30 minutes or I go watch a show or movie to pass time by. Take off then wash your hair with your shampoo or cleanser to cleanse your hair but don't wash everything out, just quick wash so some nutrients are still left in your hair so the nutrients can really soak in your scalp. The next time you wash you hair you can cleanse everything.
~ VERY GOOD FOR SHINE & SOFTNESS ALSO, PREVENTS ITCHING YOUR SCALP ~

What To Look Out For In Your Bath Room Products:

1. Dihydroxyacetone
2. Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, dimethiconol
3. Mica
4. Phenoxyethanol
5. Ethylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, methylparaben, butylparaben
6. Alpha-isomethylionone
7. Benzyl salicylate
8. BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene)
9. Coumarin
10. Butylphenyl methylpropional
11. Geramiol, citronellol, ciral, benzyl salicylate
12. SLS & SLES
13. Propylene Glycol
14. DEA
15. Triclosan
16. Sodium Fluoride
17. Glycerin
18. Saccharin

~ These are the ones I've researched so far but there is pleanty more & I don't doubt they're still trying to make or come up with more harmful ingredients to hurt us every year so just be aware and really read your label please. If you want me to write a article about hair products & what not to use for healthy hair and get links together from many different sites/brands that are organic just let me know.  I'm here to help the world become a healthy place because it starts with us if we feel good with what we put in our bodies, skin, cleansers, treatments, and foods. I have no shadow of a doubt we could change the world if we cleanse not only ourselves but the world not just a few steps at a time. People are dying everyday we have to move fast, it's like a health race for the wellness of not just you but everyone around you, your community, family, friends, neighbors, it affects everyone. ♡

Life is a test. & I think I passed it.

I look at life as a test. (Life Test - A test that springs up like'a pop quiz. & your like TF. I didn't get prepared yet! o:< . -_- . D:)Things don't always go as you planned... you know, things NEVER go as you planned especially when your a teenager. That's why I like to just get all the information together & just do it don't think of why or who's going, just do. I mean yeah if your hanging out your going to need a way their & a way back but those should be the only things your worrying about when you go out, you should just go an have fun don't decide of it's going to be fun or not just go party! But anyways getting back on track (:.. everyone I mean EVERYONE has a ditch in their life & if they told you they haven't their lying. Even the rich people have LOTS of ditches & stress an crap to go through nothing get's better over night or a semester. But a point in time it will, if everyone was just patient, stoped stressing and caring an fusing over unnecessary things, we wouldn't have all these problems *coughcough* DEPRESSED SUICIDAL KIDS OR ADULTS. I know it sucks ass but life does that on purpose to fuck with humans. That's why we have to pull through, you know that saying you can't have a rainbow with out a little rain it's true. You shouldn't let things that make you blue mess with how you feel inside as a person because you know what kind of person you are. So don't let it get to you & just jump to.. FUCK MY LIFE NOTHINGS GOING MY WAY I'M SMOKE, DRINK, OR CUT/KILL MYSELF CAUSE NO ONES LISTENING or understanding me. BE MOTHA LOVIN' POSITIVE! For once JEZZE stop beating yourself up about things, find things that will help you get through the storm you need to do it by yourself and for yourself you don't need others to listen or understand. Because soon you will depend on them and relying on someone will hurt you so much more than you think. And don't need cats, cats are a handy cap not something that will help. YOU DON'T NEED PEOPLE YOU NEED A BESTFRIEND OR A SISTER OR BROTHER LOL. And besides, people they can't understand if you don't allow them to or you do it a certain way people are like.. 'this kid is weird ._. ' lol.. or just lash out on people. No one wants to be around a murderer or someone who isn't confident.. just saying. If people would just say what they feel instead of holding it in or keeping it hidden from others from some dumb reason, we'd ALL pass the test of lifes hardships. We ALL just need a best friend to confide in or a friend we've known for a realllly LONG TIME. Cause don't say that stuff to random people you just meet ..you'll scare them away .. well some, some care. But still its best to just have a positive best friend/attitude, because they know you an you know them so i'd be great to open yourself up more to them & get closer & closer <3. So to all who are still keep getting test after tests in life, you'll get your chance at passing ;D! Just be patient & hang around your best friend or someone close. Who knows they maybe feeling the same & you'll be their to catch them when you guys need each other the most or they fall. c:
